Our Mission

Making Disciples through Worship, Community, Formation and Mission.

That's our mission; that's why Saint Patrick's Church exists.

Disciples ... nothing more; nothing less. That's it. One central thing.

Why?

Because of Jesus's words in Matthew 28:18-20,

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20, ESV)

To put our mission in action we need a metric to measure what discipleship looks like; that metric is The 4 Practices (Click link to learn about The 4 Practices.)

The gospel of Jesus Christ rightly preached and received eradicates all racism
and bigotry. Christ's work creates a new family where those who are different become one as they stand together on the level ground at the foot of the cross and serve one another as our Lord served who washed his disciples feet. Racism and bigotry are absolute contradictions to the way of Jesus and have no place on the hearts and minds of those who give allegiance to Christ. (Galatians 2:11-14, Galatians 3:27-28, Ephesians 2:11-14.)
