Our Mission

Making Disciples through Worship, Community, Formation and Mission.

That's our mission; that's why Saint Patrick's Church exists.

Disciples ... nothing more; nothing less. That's it. One central thing.

Because of Jesus's words in Matthew 28:18-20,

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20, ESV)

To put our mission in action we need a metric to measure what discipleship looks like; that metric is The 4 Practices (Click link to learn about The 4 Practices.)

From today’s readings - 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Matthew 9:36-38 ...
