Lighthouse Ministries

Lexington hosts a number of great ministries that serve our city. One of these is Lighthouse ministries.

Lighthouse Ministries LogoLighthouse Ministries is dedicated to reaching the low and moderate income population of Lexington and the Fayette County area by providing free meals for people in need. In addition, they provide housing and support for men who are disadvantaged, whether due to recent imprisonment, drug-related issues, or poverty. The Lighthouse also provides educational and psychological support for people who are in need of drug, alcohol and vocational rehabilitation.

Our parish partners with Lighthouse to serve in its  ministries to our city and give regularly to its work.

The gospel of Jesus Christ rightly preached and received eradicates all racism

Christ's work creates a new family where those who are different become one as they stand together on the level ground at the foot of the cross and serve one another as our Lord served who washed his disciples feet. Racism and bigotry are absolute contradictions to the way of Jesus and have no place on the hearts and minds of those who give allegiance to Christ. (Galatians 2:11-14, Galatians 3:27-28, Ephesians 2:11-14.)
